Print and Framing
All my works are printed on premium fine art paper or canvas to Archival Museum grade standards, using archival pigment inks and state of the art printers to produce sharp and vibrant images.
Fine Art Paper: Canson Rag Photographique, 310gsm, 100% cotton.
This beautiful fine art cotton rag paper offers a unique extra smooth surface with a sensual feel, producing rich colours and subtle details. It also provides one of the highest achievable Dmax currently available on the market, making it ideal for fine art prints. When framed, prints under glass with UV filter have a life span exceeding 100 years.
I recommend liaising with your framer on how to match your frame and matting to your print.
Fine Art Prints are supplied rolled in a heavy-duty tube to protect them in transport. The measurements supplied are of the outer dimensions of the print. Each print comes with a white boarder between 5-10cm, depending on the print size and ready to be framed. Works from the Botanical page have a white background that is printed to the edge, therefore no boarder has been added to these prints.
Float Framed Canvas Print: Hahnemuhle Daguerre, 400gsm, Poly-cotton.
My canvas prints are a beautiful matt coated, poly-cotton inkjet canvas, with a fine woven surface texture, and are supplied in a float frame, ready-to-hang. The Hahnemühle Daguerre Canvas exhibits exceptional sharpness and colour gamut, is acid and lignin-free and meets the most exacting requirements in terms of age resistance. All canvas prints are coated with a UV inhibitor for abrasion and fade resistance, further extending the life of the work with a fade resistant life of up to and exceeding 100 years when displayed suitably.
Float Frames:
Float frames are available in black, white and lovely timbers, as seen in samples below. Please note, frame finishes do vary from time to time and all efforts will be made to ensure frame colours match samples supplied. Once you complete your float frame canvas print order I will be in contact with you and able to provide advice on the best frame colour to match your print.
Black and white frames have a matt finish, while timber frames such as the Victorian Ash has a satin finish. These frames are made to order using finest quality mouldings and finished with great care, to ensure works will remain a contemporary and elegant design for generations to come.
Caring for your print: To protect your picture, ensure your image is displayed out of direct sunlight and away for heat.
